North Dakota Quilter Sews Blankets for Bismarck Kids
When local quilter, Martha Downs, found out that teachers and classes were making fleece blankets for students in need in the Bismarck Public School system, she decided to contribute to the cause. According to a press release, the owner of Free Spirit Quilting was heartbroken at the thought of children going without something as basic as a blanket.
