LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Human remains found in the Kentucky River five years ago have been identified as a woman who was reported missing in 1973, officials said Wednesday.
Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn, Lexington Fire Department, and Lexington Police release the identity of human bones found in October 2016 in the Kentucky River. The findings are in connection with a missing persons investigation that has lasted nearly 45 years.
