ORLANDO – Attendees at this year’s Cheez-It Bowl and Vrbo Citrus Bowl enjoyed the action knowing that Camping World Stadium was ready for gameday thanks to a comprehensive health, safety and sanitation plan built in collaboration with local partners including AdventHealth and Massey Services.
As part of its reopening protocol, Florida Citrus Sports and Orlando Venues leadership worked closely with AdventHealth physicians to develop guidelines intended to keep participants, fans, volunteers and staff protected at the facility, which recently received Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR Facility Accreditation – the ‘gold standard’ for safe facilities.
Proven, effective protocols will be place from entry to exit, including the continued use facial coverings when not eating or drinking, proper physical distancing and encouraged hand sanitization, with touchless sanitizing stations easily accessible throughout the facility. ....
