Amazon Halo leader jumps ship for job at Biofourmis; former Livongo exc. advises CareCentrix
Dr. Maulik Majmuda has joined Boston-based virtual care and digital therapeutics company Biofourmis as its chief medical officer, the company announced this week. Prior to this new role, Majmudar served as medical office at Amazon, where he led the development and launch of Amazon Halo. He also completed a stint at Massachusetts General Hospital as an associate director of the Healthcare Transformation Lab, and was an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School.
