NASA confirmed that a massive asteroid twice the size of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, will zoom past the Earth this week. The asteroid, known as 1989 JA, is labelled as "potentially hazardous" due to its size and how close it will come to our planet.
The space rock will be relatively close to Earth when it passes, and it will likely not hit our planet, says US space authorities.
Although it is April Fools’ Day, the massive asteroid will indeed fly by Earth on April 1, as per astronomers.
