Ex-Hershey man ordered to pay $1.5M, serve federal prison time for multiple frauds Updated Feb 24, 2021; A federal judge has ordered a former Hershey man to serve 11 years in prison and pay more than $1.5 million in restitution for a series of scams, including bankruptcy fraud. The sentence imposed by U.S. Middle District Senior Judge Sylvia H. Rambo on 61-year-old Michael J. Jackson also covers charges of wire fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering. Acting U.S. Attorney Bruce D. Brandler said Rambo resentenced Jackson after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit vacated a 12-year prison sentence imposed on him in 2019 after concluding some sentencing issues had not been outlined on the record.
