ST. LOUIS (Legal Newsline) - A federal judge has dismissed a proposed class action lawsuit against Nike that argued its "Sustainability" products are not as environmentally friendly as the company would have shoppers believe.
A Missouri judge granted Nike's motion to dismiss a greenwashing-related lawsuit that accused the athletic wear giant of deceiving consumers.
"You're like a villain out of a movie that is made to terrorize a smaller town," the judge said to Matthew Skaggs, 40.
