CARROLLTON A 57-year-old Carroll County man is facing 13 felony sexual abuse charges stemming from alleged acts involving three different girls.
The suspect, Rickie A. Garbrandt, a resident of Orange Township in the Sherrodsville area, engaged in sex acts with the girls from 2001 to 2020, according to the Carroll County Prosecutor s Office.
The charges are five counts of sexual battery, four counts of gross sexual imposition, two charges of rape, and one count each of attempted rape and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The alleged victims are now adults.
As of Tuesday, Gatbrandt was not in custody of the Carroll County Jail following his indictment by a county grand jury. ....
