Dante Brooks, the 18 years son of dancehall superstar Mavado was found guilty earlier today January 27th in the Home Circuit Court located in downtown Kingston for Arson, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, and murder. Brooks is being represented by Lawyer Peter Champagnie QC and he told a reporter that the verdict will be “absolutely!” appealed. The much-anticipated trial begun on January 11th, 2021 after being earlier reported to start on January 7th. Two weeks after it starts, it’s ended with a guilty verdict for young Brooks and his co-accused Andre Hines who earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges laid against them. ....
