The rigorous toll of Survivor is widely known, but one former contestant recently spoke out about how the show âisn t a safe workplace.â Former contestant Max Dawson of Season 14 revealed in Survivor Quarantine Questionnaire that the show doesn t protect and safeguard the players. In fact, Dawson claims that Survivor actively seeks out bad behavior in casting to boost entertainment and doesn t properly provide aftercare from the gameâs mental and physical wear and tear. We sent a Survivor Quarantine Questionnaire to a batch of former players to fill out with their thoughts about their time on the show as well as updates on what they ve been up to since. Each weekday, EW will post the answers from a different player. Max Dawson did not last all that long in the game of Survivor, being voted out on day 14 of the Worlds Apart season. But he knows all too well from both his own experience and those of his fellow contestants that no matter how long you play the game and appear on the show, the effects of the experience can linger long after the final torches are snuffed and the million-dollar check is handed out. Booker shoots Rockets to victory, 52-41 FROM STAFF REPORTS WILLARD Oak Harbor fell behind early but controlled the game for the final three quarters in its 52-41 victory over Willard. The Crimson Flashes led 12-5 after the first quarter and 20-19 at halftime, but the Rockets (2-1, 1-1 SBC Bay) won the second half, 33-21. “We came off a one-practice game scenario. We lost to Vermilion, and it got us ready for Willard. We knew it was going to be a hard one,” said Oak Harbor coach Eric Sweet. “We knew if we played good defense we’d have a chance because we knew we could score a little bit. (Blake) Booker caught fire and was able to score. Brenen Ish has been scoring for us, too. It was a huge win for those boys.” ....
