MOSES LAKE – An offensive surge late in the second quarter carried on into the second half for the No. 1 seed MLCA/CCS Lions, who defeated No. 4 Waterville-Mansfield 58-39 Friday night in the semifinal round of the Central Washington 1B district tournament.
SOAP LAKE – Tied at 59 with just over three minutes to go, the Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian School Lions forced key defensive stops and connected on clutch baskets to leave Soap Lake with a 64-62 win Tuesday night.
MOSES LAKE – Despite a cold night of shooting on the floor, the MLCA/CCS Lions were able to defeat Waterville-Mansfield 40-39 to improve to 3-1 on the year. Key defensive plays down the stretch allowed the Lions to walk away with a win Friday night.
