Speaking on his 26th birthday Max Key, son of former New Zealand PM, opened up about life in the spotlight and explained he has matured in recent years.
The influencer says he "massively struggled" growing up under the spotlight.
“I realised for the last few years of my life, I’d portrayed this party-boy, drop-kick version of myself that was actually not an accurate representation of the person I really am,” he said. “I hated the way I had presented myself and learnt the lessons and negative effects social media can play on us and our mental well-being. I thought having a break would be the best way to reflect on who I want to be.” Max Key was just 13 years old when his father, John Key, became prime minister. By the end of his prime ministership, Max Key was 21 years old.
