Trade Nate Solder There is little doubt the Giants planned on releasing Nate Solder this offseason, likely with the post-June 1 designation to spread the $10.5 million dead cap hit over two years. With the former Patriot's stated intent to return, now the question arises of what the Giants should do with him. The Giants can certainly consider keeping him around. After all, he is the most experienced Tackle on the roster and his dead cap hit is so big they might as well get the benefit of the player actually playing (though maybe not at $16.5 million in cap space, unless they restructured).
