BC Ferries is showcasing the latest art design for its new liquefied natural gas (LNG) ferry, which was designed by Indigenous artist Maynard Johnny Jr.
Duncan artist Maynard Johnny Jr.designed the heron for the Salish Heron, the fourth Salish-class vessel featuring Indigenous art.
The Salish Heron sailed out of Poland on Dec. 22. By the time it arrives in Victoria in late February, it will have travelled more than 10,000 nautical miles
