Orange City joins others in planning to celebrate July 4th with event
Flagler Beach also canceled its Fourth of July celebration this year. The Orange City Council during its most recent meeting was presented with three options for celebrating July 4th. The first option would provide the same setup as in previous years, but with 20 vendors instead of 30. The second option would cancel the watermelon-eating contest and car show; limit vendors to 10; and include singular children's activities, such as a rock wall or a slide.
