Sunderland were held to a 2-2 draw at Hull City on Tuesday evening in Sky Bet League One. 
 
The Lads struck first at the KCOM Stadium, as Jordan Jones volleyed into the corner just a few moments after heading against the crossbar. 
 
Hull levelled through Josh Magennis on 28 minutes, but the Black Cats hit back immediately when Grant Leadbitter stroked the ball home from the penalty spot.
 
The Tigers burst out of the blocks following the restart and brave defending initially kept them at bay, but Magennis headed home his second to level on 63 minutes.
 
Both sides battled in into the final seconds of added time and Aiden O’Brien headed against the crossbar in added time, as it ended all-square.  ....

Blackpool condemned Sunderland to a third consecutive Sky Bet League One defeat on Saturday at Bloomfield Road.
 
The Tangerines struck before the hour mark through Luke Garbutt, who found the net within seconds of Aiden McGeady clattering the woodwork at the other end. 
 
Luke O’Nien saw a point-blank effort cleared off the line and Chris Maxwell denied Charlie Wyke and Josh Scowen, as Neil Critchley’s side extended their unbeaten run to 16 games. 
 
Lee Johnson made three changes from the side that faced Wigan Athletic earlier this week, as Callum McFadzean, Grant Leadbitter and Aiden O’Brien were named in the starting XI.  ....
