Boeing in-flight fighter case in dubai. it was really incredible to see what systems failed, including the oxygen, including the flight control system. so it really just opens up a random possibility of explanations for this what seems to us confusing sequence of events. uh-huh. all these theories. conspiracies. it could have been something as simple as mechanical. gentlemen, i have to leave it, but thank you so much, as we continue digging and talking to our sources and trying to figure out where the heck this plane is. there s so much more coming up on the disappearance of this may flight 370. this man, he is a former malaysia airlines pilot. he used to fly the very plane that is now gone. he is also a friend of the missing pilot. and he has a very specific idea about what happened. also ahead, we ll talk about the flight s path. was it reprogrammed? cnn s martin savidge back in that flight simulator and he ll ....

Cockpit signed off with malaysian air control. so does that lend more credence to a potential mechanical failure as opposed to someone doing this deliberately? you know what, we ve gone over that, the pilot here and i, and i m not sure we have come to any strong conclusion as to whether this means that this was an accident or deliberate. if you have the shutdown over time, it certainly sounds deliberate. but the fact that the acars system would be first. why? you know, it doesn t lend any credibility to the theory that either way. it could have been mechanical, although i believe that it s highly unlikely. the systematic approach with which it was shut down suggests to me it was shut down by somebody. we could point out, wolf, the acars system could actuallily be accessed by going through what is sort of the big huge gps system. this is used how you input ....

Renee, what point on the clock, let s put it that way, are they honing in on? the block of time that we are talking about here is 1:07 to 1:37 a.m. malaysian authorities appear to be back tracking on information they gave about the timeline of events and the new timeline they are giving today in the words of one 777 pilot makes what happened look less deliberate and more mechanical. here s the new timeline. saturday march 8th, 1:07, the acars system sent the last information about the health of the plane much the last radio transmission with the copilot saying already, good night. perfectly normal as they were going and doing the handoff for malaysian airspace towards vietnam. two minutes later, the plane s transponder stopped transmitting the altitude, speed, and ....

Sense to any of us as lay people either. i ve got a question for you, captain. just quickly. every pilot is talking about this at the moment, aren t they? this is the big talking appointment in the industry. it s a big point, yeah. these are one of our colleagues that we ve lost, and we need the answers. we really need to not only for these four grieving people, we need answers for them. that s what s the most important thing, but we need answers to find out how we prevent this from happening again, whatever it is that occurred. it s such a great point, richard, you just brought up. i tell you, every time i hear a whiplash judgment from a country or analyst from someone in the know that suggests it s nefarious, accidental, mechanical, deliberate, i grieve for the families of those pilots, as well. because if they have nothing to do with any of this, and they have been, you know, ex or indicated worldwide for what they possibly may have done, we are all going to feel horrified ....
