So our office will arrive here tomorrow and initiate that investigation. We expect that investigation to take a considerable period of time as it involves extensive review of records, of inspections and a relationship to the code itself. The newest information i have is in the last few minutes, due to the last entry of the hazmat team, there is ongoing discussions that mays reduce the level of activity in the overnight hours here. The hazmat teams believe that the situation is stable in the building at this time. That while there is additional entries that need to be made for collection of chemicals theres believe that again stability has come to that laboratory. So possibly the scene will be decreased in activity in the overnight hours and it will be reassessed and most like ....

Eight faculty members have been granted tenure in five departments across the MIT School of Engineering

The School of Engineering has announced that MIT has granted tenure to eight members of its faculty in the departments of Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Nuclear Science and Engineering.
“This year’s newly tenured faculty are truly inspiring,” says Anantha Chandrakasan, dean of the School of Engineering and Vannevar Bush Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. “Their work as educators and scholars has shown an incredible commitment to teaching and research they have each had a tremendous impact in their fields and within School of Engineering community.”
