தமிழ்நாட்டில் மொத்தமுள்ள 21 பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் 11 பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் என ராமதாஸ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

தமிழ்நாட்டில் மொத்தமுள்ள 21 பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் 11 பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் என ராமதாஸ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

பா.ம.க. நிறுவனர் ராமதாஸ் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் கூறி இருப்பதாவது:-
தமிழ்நாட்டில் கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாக கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களுக்கும் தொழில் மற்றும் தொழில் நுட்பப் பேராசிரியர்களை துணை வேந்தர்களாக நியமிக்கும் வழக்கம் அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பல்கலைக் கழகங்களின் வளர்ச்சியை பாதிக்கும் வகையிலான இந்தப் போக்கு தவிர்க்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் சில 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு வரை தொழில் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பம் சார்ந்த சிறப்புப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் தொடங்கப்படும் வரை அனைத்துப் பல்கலைக் கழகங்களுக்கும் தொலை நோக்குப் பார்வை கொண்ட கல்வியாளர்கள் தான் துணைவேந்தர்களாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டனர்.
ஏ.எல்.முதலியார், நெ.து.சுந்தரவடிவேலு, மால்கம் ஆதிசே‌ஷய்யா போன்றவர்கள் பல்வேறு கல்வி பின்புலங்களில் இருந்து வந்தாலும் கல்வி வளர்ச்சி சார்ந்த தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வை இருந்ததால் தான் தாங்கள் வகித்த துணைவேந்தர் பதவிகளுக்கு பெருமை சேர்த்தனர்; இன்றும் அவர்கள் கொண்டாடப்படுகின்றனர்.
பின்னாளில் பொறியியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பப் படிப்புகளுக்கு அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம், வேளாண் கல்விக்கு வேளாண்மை பல்கலைக்கழகம், சட்டப்படிப்புக்கு அம்பேத்கர் சட்டப் பல்கலைக்கழகம், மருத்துவப்படிப்புக்கு எம்.ஜி.ஆர் மருத்துவப்பல்கலைக்கழகம், மீன்வளக் கல்விக்கு ஜெயலலிதா பெயரில் தனி பல்கலைக்கழகம் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
ஒரு மருத்துவப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தராக கலை அறிவியல் படித்தவரையும், வேளாண்பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தராக சட்டம் படித்த வரையும், சட்டப்பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணை வேந்தராக இசை கற்றவரையும், மீன்வளப்பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தராக கல்வியியல் நுணுக்கங்களை கற்றவரையும் எப்படி நியமிக்க முடியாதோ, அதேபோல் கலை அறிவியல் பல்கலைக் கழகங்களின் துணைவேந்தர்களாகவும் மருத்துவம், பொறியியல், வேளாண்மை படித்த பேராசிரியர்களை நியமிக்க முடியாது.
அவ்வாறு செய்தால் அது மகிழுந்து ஓட்டி பழகியவரை, விமானம் ஓட்டுவதற்கு அனுமதித்தால் எத்தகைய விளைவுகளும், அழிவுகளும் ஏற்படுமோ, அவை பல்கலைகளிலும் நிகழும். கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் இத்தகைய நிலை ஏற்படாமல் தடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் மொத்தமுள்ள 21 பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் 11 பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் ஆகும். அந்தப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் வளர்ச்சியை உறுதி செய்யும் வகையில், கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் பேராசிரியர்களை மட்டும் அவற்றின் துணைவேந்தர்களாக நியமிக்கும் வகையில் விதிகளில் திருத்தம் செய்ய தமிழக அரசும் ஆளுனரும் முன்வர வேண்டும் என்று வலியுறுத்துகிறேன்.
இவ்வாறு அதில் கூறியுள்ளார்.
