FDA Approves Narcan for Over-the-Counter Use
The FDA has approved Narcan—a common form of overdose-reversing drug naloxone—for over-the-counter use, the agency said Wednesday. The drug will be available in a 4 mg nasal spray dosage, and is expected to hit shelves and online retailers in late summer.
