Issa brothers' Blackburn mosque backed for approval
COUNCILLORS have been recommended to approve Blackburn’s billionaire Issa brothers' plans for a £5million new mosque in their home town despite nine objections. Most of the criticism relates to the danger of potential traffic created by the proposed Muslim religious and community centre on the site of Westholme School’s former infant and first schools.
