A31 westbound closed due to crash
A MAJOR Dorset road was closed due to a crash where a vehicle reportedly went into a ditch. The A31 westbound near to the Merley Bird roundabout, Wimborne, was closed earlier today as a vehicle reportedly came off the road and went into a ditch. The road was closed while emergency services are at the scene. Traffic between Bere Regis and Ringwood was affected. A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 11.19am to a report of a two vehicle collision on the A31 westbound near to the Merley Bird roundabout. The collision involved a Mini Countryman and an Audi Q7.
