Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has received $17 million in state funds to go toward Capitol Heights Metro Station improvements.
The Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) will be closed Thursday and Friday after water issues caused flooding at the Lentz Public Health Center.
Metro's General Manager says the transit system could see service cuts as soon as Spring if the agency is not able to close the $750 million dollar gap.
