Costco's 'free replacement' car batteries aren't really free, lawsuit claims – Orlando Sentinel
Have you ever tried to return your car battery to the story where it was bought and ask for a new one? Costco now faces a lawsuit stating that it charged for customers for the marked-up price of a new when it returned the old one. The lawsuit states that the company failed to make good on its free-replacement battery promises between 1995 and 2010.
