View Comments In an executive session held Monday evening, Mathis city councilors consulted with the city attorney about numerous complaints and allegations of inappropriate behavior by the Mathis police chief and others within the department. Statements from 11 current and former city employees were sent to Mathis city manager Michael Barrera in March.
