ICU patient allegedly broke nurse’s hand While Lamar Allen Strothers, 41, of 47 Washington Blvd., was in the UPMC Williamsport ICU Oct. 3, he allegedly squeezed a nurse’s hand hard enough to break her scaphoid and tear ligaments, according to city police. Strothers, who arresting officer Gino Caschera said had been in the ICU for a few days before allegedly becoming aggressive, is charged with aggravated assault and simple assault.
