Jason Maser, 22, stepped in front of a Long Island Rail Road train Friday night just hours after entering a not guilty plea in court on various charges.

Ex-Sacred Heart Academy volleyball coach Jason Maser accused of raping a teen player took his own life when he walked in front of an Long Island Rail Road train.

Jason Maser was fatally hit by a train around 10:35 p.m. near the Syosset station after he "intentionally" stepped in front of the train at the Woodbury Road crossing, MTA spokesperson Michael Cortez said in a statement.
