ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — The Siena Saints men’s basketball team’s second trophy-game of the 2023-24 season didn’t go much different than the first. On Saturday, the Saints suffered a lopsided defeat to sister school St. Bonaventure, 89-56, losing the Brother Ed Coughlin Franciscan Cup. The defeat comes two weeks on the heels of the team also failing to reclaim the Albany Cup, versus crosstown-rival University at Albany Great Danes, in a 35-point margin of defeat, 86-51.
