The measures came early this morning after the Catalan Parliament voted to declare independence yesterday. The government in barcelona says it doesnt recognise the decisions. Meanwhile, the deposed separatist leader of catalonia, Carles Puigdemont, has called for peaceful opposition to direct rule by the Spanish Government. He says he will work to build a free country.
