Senior Architect/ Production Manager Full-timeType: Michael Kim Associates, an award-winning small design practice based in the Boston Area, has immediate openings for an experienced senior level architect. MKA has a widening portfolio of projects, including hospitality, public projects and residential work of all types. This position represents an opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant contribution on smaller projects of the highest order, as well as the operation that designs them. Our culture requires a thoughtful dedication to the craft of architecture in all phases of each project. The successful candidate will be charged with managing the staffing and production of a 6-person firm. Responsibilities will include direct management of several projects, oversight of job captains on smaller projects, implementing quality control procedures in a strong design/craft environment and mentoring of junior staff. Long-term growth into an equity position may be considered.
