St. Tammany site out, Tangipahoa in for Medline expansion, company says
Medline, the medical supply giant that had planned to build a huge distribution center in St. Tammany Parish, is opting instead for a site in neighboring Tangipahoa Parish, a company spokesman said Wednesday, ending uncertainty over the project's location and a contentious chapter in St. Tammany politics. "We're moving forward with the site in Hammond," company spokesman Jesse Greenberg said.
