Although most people seem to be unaware of it, absentee voting is under way for the June 7 congressional primary elections.

There continues to be virtually no public discussion about this year’s elections, although some of them will be of local interest.

Qualifying ended February 1, 2022, for this year’s non-partisan judicial elections and in 1st District Chancery and 1st District Circuit races all incumbent judges are unopposed for re-election.
