Fireworks applications
The city of Galt will be accepting applications for organizations that wish to sell fireworks on city property. Applications for fireworks permits are available in the City Clerk’s Office, 380 Civic Drive, city’s website, www.ca.galt.ca.us or email clerk@cityofgalt.org. All applications and required attachments must be completed and received by the City Clerk’s Office no later than 5:30 p.m., May 27.
Applicants must be a community-based, resident 501(c) (3), (4), (6), or (7) nonprofit organization promoting and providing services to residents and/or businesses.
The lottery will be held the first Monday of June in the City Clerk’s office and will determine the rank order for placement at the bottom of the master list for those eligible nonprofit organizations not already included in the master list. ....
