Fred Harris' family gave victim impact statements on Friday as they push for the release of video of his death at the hands of inmate Michael Ownby.

“If they had done their jobs, Ownby wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do what he did — to murder my son,” said the victim’s mother, who has filed a lawsuit.
