The ending of When Harry Met Sally was not how it was initially conceived, and director Rob Reiner is opening up about what changed his mind.

Reiner married actress Penny Marshall in 1971 and they were together until 1981. After his divorce from Marshall, he tied the knot with second wife Michele Singer in 1989.

Acclaimed actor, filmmaker, and director Rob, 76, admitted that he actually had a much sadder conclusion planned for Harry Burns and Sally Albright.
