Kiera Pearson's best friend Maggie Smythe was killed by Maggie's ex-partner Christopher Taylor in January 2019. Before Maggie's death, Kiera also suffered the loss of her ex-partner Lindsey Allardice's dad, who died in Kiera's arms after a trip to Blackpool.
