10TV was at the scene while DEA agents and troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol searched the apartment on Wednesday.
The DEA says its agents and other law enforcement officers have seized "rainbow fentanyl" in at least 26 states.
Columbus Public Health and Ohio State safety officials warned students in May of pills laced with fentanyl. That same week two students died.
Greater Columbus residents can drop off unwanted prescription medication at numerous locations this Saturday.
