The Foxborough School Committee voted to phase out the depiction of a Native American in their district’s logo, but keep the "Warriors" name.
“Our mission as a public school is to be for everyone, all the time,” one school committee member who voted in favor of the phase out said.
The school will continue to use its “Warriors” nickname but will stop using its logo, which shows a Native American man in profile, on new items.
