About Last Night: Why aren't goals and wins coming easy to the Canadiens anymore?

I don’t think I could sum up these last few games any better than how Montreal Canadiens defenceman Ben Chiarot did last night.
“At the beginning, things were coming pretty easy for us,” he said. “We were scoring in bunches. Skating well. It’s gotten a little tighter. Anytime you see a team at the top of the standings you’re going to have a little more energy, a little more juice when you come to play them. I think that’s what we’re seeing right now.
“The puck’s not going in as easy for us and teams are a bit more excited to come in and play us. There’s going to be ups and downs in a season and you just have to grind through them.”
