Update 7:40 a.m. Friday PennDOT has announced that the speed limit on interstates and major highways in south central Pennsylvania will remain at 45 mph during morning rush hour. While the speed restriction is in place, commercial vehicles are restricted to using the right lane on interstates, PennDOT said in a news release.
