Jack Brian Ridgway pleaded guilty to burglary for stealing 322 litres of fuel when he appeared in the District Court, Timaru.
A Timaru man who, with two associates, stole more than $650 worth of petrol claims he was too drunk to remember who he was with. Surveillance footage captured Jack Brian Ridgway cutting the rear boundary fence of Midland Contracting, he and his associates – equipped with empty containers – making three trips to a petrol tank to siphon 322 litres of fuel. The other two people seen with Ridgway on CCTV have not yet been identified. Ridgway, 21, pleaded guilty to burglary when he appeared before Judge Joanna Maze in the Timaru District Court on Tuesday.
