Athletes of the Week April 9
Dave Frederick Iseabal Cryne Izzy, now a senior, has been the starting lacrosse goalie since she arrived on the Macon, Ga. campus of Mercer University. Her short story is “Milton to Macon” protecting the house! Izzy was named to the All-Southern Conference Preseason Team for 2020 before the season was canceled after six games. She is a member of the 2019 all-tournament team and 2018 academic honor roll. The 2021 Bears are currently 4-4 on the season with wins over Winthrop (17-14), Woffard (20-5), Delaware State (21-3) and Kennesaw State (20-19). Izzy has started all eight games. She is...
