A man is in grave condition after being shot in the head just after 1 a.m. Wednesday in Fells Point. A woman was shot in the arm during the same incident and is expected to survive.
The suspect was arrested Monday in downtown Baltimore, police said.
The cheers and hugs at the scene of Adnan Syed's release at the downtown Baltimore courthouse Monday have played out before for other defendants.
"It was overwhelming. Adnan started to cry. I started to cry. I was thankful for having that minute as the courtroom cleared to try to get myself together, defense attorney Erica Suter said.
While Adnan Syed is free right now, the decision on whether to move forward with a new trial for the murder of Hae Min Lee is up to Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
