Beginning at 1 p.m., Sunday, the event is the CWC's first removal work session this year at the nature area, located adjacent to Chipp-A-Waters park in Mt. Pleasant.
A Mt. Pleasant-based nature conservancy is getting ready for the first public tour of its newest land acquisition.
Staff, board members and volunteers will be at the event for a casual night of pizza and beer, and will share information on public relations opportunities and the different ways to get involved with the CWC.
