Testimony? i want to put something on the screen that will lead me to make my first observation. mcquery was questioned about why he never approached the police about what he believed he had seen. he said he believed he pursued the proper protocol by talking to penn state vice president gary schultz and athletic director tim curley. quote, i thought i was talking to the head of the police to be frank with you. in my mind, it was like talking to the d.a. i was talking to the police who knew what to do and what to do with us. that s a reference to schultz. what strikes me, kathleen and buzz, we have confirmation that schultz was in the loop in the 1998 incident that was not prosecuted by a local d.a. albeit he didn t know much about it but he was in the loop. it s 2002 when mcquery tells him about having seen the conduct in the shower. my point is a fog horn should have sounded at that point. it was four years after that first incident. ....
