“The final completion of Double Track allows for the addition of 14 weekday trains, revised times, reduced travel times and new, limited-stop express service,” said South Shore President Michael Noland.
Work on the Double Track rail system in Michigan City and the West Lake Corridor "remain on track to finish up and open up on time."
The bus stop serving passengers between Gary and Michigan City will move to 6121 Melton Road.
