I am writing to endorse Mike Miller for Sanibel City Council. I have known him for 20 years, since he retired as vice president and treasurer of Owens-Corning in Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Sanibel. Soon after he moved and established his elder law practice, I became aware of the many hours he spent using his expertise to do pro bono work for older people who needed his help.
His extensive financial background as a financial executive and certified public accountant with nationally recognized companies has been well known, making him eminently qualified to help direct the financial future of Sanibel. In addition, he has been an integral part of the community as president of the Committee for the Islands, president of the Sanibel Bicycle Club, and serving on the Parks and Recreation Committee.
