A unique park designed in consideration of children with special needs and abilities is moving closer to completion with a site selection in Ringgold and a country music fundraiser this weekend.
The park will be built on a parcel of city-owned land, and City Council is expected to approve a location soon.
Those leading a community effort to construct a new park in Ringgold for families who have members with disabilities are hoping a site will be named in 2023.
