A new book co-inciding with the centenary of the Drishanebeg Train Ambush, entitled 'Worth the Wait' is available this weekend recalling the daring deeds of Millstreet Volunteers who carried out a planned operation against Crown forces travelling by train between Mallow and Killarney in early 1921. The Drishanebeg Train Ambush Commemoration Project Committee was established to remember the events on February 11 at the Glebe Railway Cutting.
