Milton s sister Ariel Mary Ann started the GoFundMe in June to cover the expenses of Milton s funeral. But she ended up raising much more money than she ever expected, Mary Ann told The Enquirer.
Mary Ann has always loved theatre, and she participated in a Cincinnati Shakespeare Company summer camp when she was in high school.
And I was only able to it because someone else made it so that I could go, you know, because my family couldn t really afford to drop $200, Mary Ann said. 
She later learned that her science teacher at Withrow University High School had funded her camp expenses. Now, with the money raised through Milton s GoFundMe, other Black kids with demonstrated financial need will get the same opportunities Mary Ann did. ....
